The scheme involved selling illegal DSTV signals while using the stolen funds to purchase luxury items, including two Cessna planes. Ndungi lived a life of extravagance, owning high-end vehicles and other expensive assets. However, his lavish lifestyle came to an abrupt end when he was lured by American authorities while attempting to sell a fraudulently-acquired tax refund cheque in Texas.
