The member of Parliament of Homabay Town Constituency, honorable Peter Opondo Kaluma, has laughed at the ambitions of the former Cabinet Secretary of Interior, Dr. Fred Matiangi of unseating President William Ruto and clinching the Presidency in the next general elections which will be held in 2027.
He termed the ambitions as a joke and laughed at it that honorable Fred Matiangi is now imagining that he can become the President of the Republic of Kenya.
He was however told that, he should never despise anybody in the political space and he should also not write anybody off. Kenyans told him that, Kenya is a democratic space and the Presidency is not limited only to a few individuals.
Some people also told honorable Peter Kaluma that he is also free to dream big. They told him that, honorable Fred Matiangi’s leadership has been tried and tested at the Executive level. They told him that he has only been a member of Parliament and therefore he should not look down upon the ambitions of honorable Fred Matiangi.
Other Kenyans also said that, they will support the Presidency of honorable Fred Matiangi because the country needs fresh blood to be injected in the system. They added that, Kenyans are the people who have the final say and they are the ones who will decide what they will do with their votes in 2027.
They urged him to respect the ambitions of the former Cabinet Secretary of Interior, because the Presidency is not just reserved for a few individuals or politicians.
