Meta Expands AI Integration in Ray-Ban Glasses

Meta, formerly known as Facebook, Inc., is making strides in augmented reality (AR) technology by expanding AI integration in its Ray-Ban Meta glasses. The new features allow users to interact with Meta AI using voice commands, supporting multiple languages including French, Italian, and Spanish. This enhancement aims to provide real-time translations and answers to general questions, improving user experience and accessibility.

 

Despite the positive advancements, Meta faces regulatory challenges, including a recent €798 million fine by the European Commission for antitrust violations related to its Facebook Marketplace. The company is required to adjust its practices to comply with EU competition standards, highlighting the ongoing scrutiny over its business operations.
